Every year the school elects a new School Council. Year 6 children can put themselves forward for election to one of the main officer positions of Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. Candidates prepare short speeches which are presented to the whole school in an assembly at the start of the autumn term. All the children vote on who they would like to lead the council.

Each class then elects two children to represent their class.

The school council meets with staff once a term to discuss charity and fund raising events and any issues in the school. They also attend special events acting as ambassadors for the school.
