All Saints Church
John Mayne School has close links with the local parish church, All Saints.
We hold a number of events each year in the church and these include Harvest festival, Christmas, Easter and Leavers’ services. The church building also provides a larger venue for events such as music concerts and Nativity plays where we need to accommodate more people.
The school joins in with church events such as the village carol service, Plant and Art festival and church fete. The school council represents us each year at the Remembrance Service in November.
The church provides a useful resource when the children are studying aspects of Christianity in Religious Education and the history and geography of the local area.
The work of the school is regularly featured in the parish magazine.
